U.S. Department of Energy DOE Report: LED is the lowest impact on the environment, energy-efficient lighting

The latest report of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is important because of the LED lighting and incandescent bulb compared to the lower minor influence on the environment over fluorescent lamps (CFLs). LED manufacturing and utility of this report is mainly in three different bulbs lifecycle, including production, operation and eliminated. This report to do a comprehensive study on the LED bulbs, energy and environmental impact analysis of three different bulb production, assembly, transport and elimination.

This is also the first openly discuss the report of the LED production process, to support the Department of Energy to protect the public's air and water resources, improve the competitiveness of the U.S. clean energy, and save the cost of the energy bill to assist families and general corporate line number.

Report pointed out that the traditional fluorescent lamps (CFLs) and LED lights are very similar in energy consumption, both energy consumption are less than incandescent bulbs, and running consumes most of the life cycle when compared to the manufacture and transport, energy. Because of the high efficiency of the run, consumes 12.5 watts of power and can reach CFLs (15 watts) and the incandescent light bulb (60 watts) to the same effect. 15 test report shows 14 LED bulbs these three lighting is the most environmentally friendly lamps.

When the market-oriented in order to save money for the customers and the company, the transition from incandescent light bulbs to the use of energy-efficient lighting, LED lights and CFLs impact on the environment, we expect to reduce today's 3-10 times.
